In April of this year, Google made mobile-friendliness a ranking signal for websites. That means websites created more than a year and a half ago may not be mobile-friendly, and could fall lower down in Google search results. Time to start afresh.
I'm an inveterate do-it-yourselfer when it comes to this sort of thing. I launched my first website using the iWeb program that came on my iMac computer. I was astonished at how relatively easy it was to do! Alas, Apple has stopped supporting iWeb, and a new website needed a new platform. After a bit of trial and error with the best known web platforms, a friend recommended Squarespace. Still not as easy as iWeb, but I'm very happy with the result. I think you'll still find all the pertinent information on appraisal of antiques, decorative arts, residential contents, and me that you may need, and now in a form readable on your phone, your tablet, or your desktop computer.
